21-22 May, with the aim of identifying and attracting new, high value-added, Western cargo to the Latvian logistics corridor, representatives of Latvian port authorities and transport and logistics companies under the unified brand VIA LATVIA participated in Breakbulk Europe 2024 in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
The exhibition traditionally attracts around 11 000 participants and is a major event in the international freight industry, bringing together manufacturers, suppliers, service providers and industry experts from all over the world. By taking part in the exhibition, the Latvian transport industry takes the opportunity to meet and network with new potential partners, strengthen existing partnerships, and learn about the latest products, technologies, services and innovations in the freight transport sector to improve efficiency and competitiveness. While visiting the VIA Latvia stand, the Ambassador of Latvia to the Netherlands, Solvita Āboltiņa, also expressed her support for the transport and logistics sector.
It was the third time that VIALATVIA had exhibited at the fair, and company representatives evaluated the participation very positively. We are already starting to prepare for our participation in Breakbulk Europe 2025, which will take place from 13 to 15 May in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
