From 12-14 April 2021, Latvian transport entrepreneurs represent Latvia at the international transport logistics services and technology forum “TransRussia 2021”, which takes place in Moscow.
At the event the largest companies of the Latvian transport sector are represented under a single brand - VIA LATVIA. Latvian delegatin consists of the management from the Freeport of Ventspils, the Freeport of Riga and Liepaja’s SEZ. Ten Latvian transport companies are paricipating in the Latvian joint stand.
For the 23rd time, the largest players in the Latvian transport industry are participating in exhibitions at a joint Latvian stand but since 2019 under the VIA LATVIA brand, offering modern, safe, fast and efficient transportation, port, distribution and e-commerce services.
The Minister of Transport of the Republic of Latvia, Tālis Linkaits, addressed the audience at the opening of the exhibition in video format. While taking to the participants of the event, the Minister noted that Latvia is open to cooperation and provides multimodal transport solutions with unrestricted access to ports, sea routes, international air traffic, as well as efficient road and rail traffic throughout Eurasia. The Minister pointed out that Latvia highly values it’s trust of partners and customers, also cooperation with Russian partners in the development of Eurasian transport corridors.
Despite the limitations and challenges of the global epidemiological situation, the exhibition is attended by more than 200 companies from 23 countries around the world, which provide road, rail, sea and air freight services, freight forwarding, performs cago handling in terminas and ports as well as offers IT solutions.
